INTEGRITY
Davey client Matt Inman and his wife spotted a
Davey truck in a parking lot near their home in
Avon Lake, Ohio, and asked the crew for help
getting a strap down to rehang a swing for their
kids. Eric Barker, pole inspection foreman, Davey
Resource Group, Utility Asset Management
services, and his crew were happy to help.
Inman wrote in to say, "rarely do I see anyone
so committed to doing the right thing. My family
is sincerely appreciative."
Barker said they only have so many hours in
a day to do something good. "They saw the
Davey name on the side of truck and knew they
could ask us. We did it because it was a good
opportunity to make someone's life easier."

ARBORGUARD ATLANTA CREW
HELPS CLIENT IN NEED
Arborguard Tree Specialists, a Davey company's Atlanta office
crew members Zak Brunner, trimmer, Chandler Carlson, trimmer,
Sage Rogers, crew leader, and Brad Turner, arborist skills trainer,
recently helped Davey client Christine Davis with some pruning
after seeing her struggle in the Atlanta heat while working on a
neighbor's property. The crew spent around 10 minutes using a
hand saw pruning the limbs and cleaning up her weeping Yoshino
cherry tree. The voluntary help brought the 80-year-old woman
to tears of gratitude.
"It was an uplifting, emotional thing for her, but it's work we do
every day," Turner said. "That's what Davey is about – doing the
right thing and helping when we can."
Davis gave the crew an open invitation to bring their family and
friends to visit her expansive, treasured botanical garden filled with
a bamboo forest, rare plants and trees located on her property.
"I know the work didn't take long, but their act of kindness meant
the world to me," Davis said.
