TOUR DES TREES BENEFITS TREE FUND
Davey was a Crown Partner of the 2022 Tour des Trees.
Benefitting the nonprofit Tree Research and Education
Endowment Fund (TREE Fund), which supports scientific
discovery in arboriculture and urban forestry, the Tour des
Trees is the TREE Fund's annual primary public outreach.
The riders cycled through communities, raised funds, and
planted trees.
The in-person Tour des Trees began in Des Moines, Iowa,
and ended in Nebraska City, Nebraska, and included a
virtual participation option. Over the course of the tour, riders
traveled over 440 miles through western Iowa and Nebraska.
"To many of us, this is more than an opportunity to ride
our bikes and raise a bunch of money for tree research and
education every year. I have formed some of the strongest
bonds and friendships of my life riding the Tour," said Laurie
Skul, financial planning and risk analyst, corporate office.
Davey riders who participated in the 2022 Tour des Trees included
