OWNER'S BOX
"
I got in as soon as
I could. As soon as
I was eligible, I was
in. Start now, even
if it's $10 a paycheck.
Just let it go. You
won't miss it. It's a
great benefit. Not a
lot of companies offer
the opportunity to be
a stockholder.

ROCK THE BLOCK
The King of Prussia Residential/
Commercial (R/C) office donated a crew
and equipment to Habitat for Humanity
of Montgomery and Delaware Counties
for their Rock the Block Clean-Up Day
in Pottstown, Pennsylvania.
Alan Jensen-Sellers, PHC technician,
coordinated the office's efforts and did
the preliminary tree inspections on
the property managed by the Genesis
Housing Corporation to make sure the
crew had all the necessary equipment.
The volunteers pruned a hazard maple
tree, removed a dead red oak tree
and helped clean up trash around
the property.
Timothy Marino, sales arborist, said the
benefits extended beyond the donation.
Alan Jensen-Sellers built this guitar with wood
from the red oak removed from the property.
SWINGING GREEN IN BOWIE, MARYLAND
For the past three years Davey Tree's presence at the annual Bowie Green Expo
has grown alongside the sustainability focused event thanks to Robert Dallmann,
district manager, Eastern Shore R/C office. This year, visitors to the event were
greeted by one of Davey's new bucket trucks, and an opportunity to touch climbing
gear and swing from the branches of a beautiful willow oak.
"Bowie is a forward-thinking place, and the Green Expo's mission of environmental
stewardship aligns with Davey's mission to bridge the gap between communities
and nature," Dallmann said. "It's the perfect opportunity to promote quality tree
care and best practices."

at the annual Bowie Green Expo.
LEADERSHIP
"When we were done, the neighbor
also appreciated what we had done
for his property," Marino said. "The
impact was contagious. One neighbor
approached me, my son and my crew
expressing interest in volunteering
next year."
