Employees toured the new third wing addition during the ribbon-cutting.
Pictured is the Tree Top conference room on the second fl oor near the
atrium connecting to the original two wings. The table was crafted
from oak wood harvested from the construction site, as are two wood
feature walls in the room.
Employee tours of the site included the working spaces throughout
the wing, which feature desks with adjustable heights for standing.
Davey retirees were invited to tour the third wing addition in November.

The moss wall, located on the fi rst fl oor near the employee entrance,
is made from real moss material and is framed with paneling made
from wood repurposed from the site.
Employees walk past a collaborative, soft-seating area. More
collaborative meeting space was identifi ed as part of the needs
assessment conducted for the third wing.
Kent-area community partners and construction and design partners
attended a ribbon-cutting and toured the third wing after employees and
retirees explored the new space. Attendees included representatives
from the city of Kent, the Kent Area Chamber of Commerce, Kent City
Schools, Portage Development Board, Team NEO, Portage County
Commissioners, Main Street Kent, and The Ruhlin Company.
