DAVEY AND ISA BRING TREE CLIMBING, EDUCATION TO NATION'S CAPITAL
While the streets of Washington, D.C.,
are surely a flurry of activity, it was
their trees that saw an increase in
traffic this summer.
The International Tree Climbing
Championship and The International
Society of Arboriculture's Annual
Conference returned to the banks of
the Potomac River in July.
More than 60 of the world's best

World Champion at ITCC at the U.S.
National Arboretum.
DAVEY IS PRESENTING
SPONSOR
Presented by Davey Tree, the event

"With safety as one of our core
values, Davey is proud to be the
presenting sponsor of ITCC," said

strategic planning for Davey Tree. "The
competing climbers demonstrated

ISA has cultivated an environment

around the ITCC, and we are proud
to be associated with this event."

Davey's Eduardo Medina served as
chairman of the event while Mark
Noark, Andrew Misch, Katie Harper
and Corey Shepherd served as
volunteers, timing and assisting with
the competition. Representatives from
Davey and The Care of Trees (TCOT)
local offices came out to answer the
many tree questions of attendees at
ISA's "Ask the Arborist Booth" at the
arbor fair. Davey's arbor fair booth
invited attendees to talk economic

children's activity of decorating Davey

guess what the annual benefits the
