Michael Dye has been promoted to assistant district manager at the South St. Paul office. Luke Elstad has been promoted to sales arborist at the South Minneapolis office. Doug Fairgrieve has been promoted to sales arborist at the South Pittsburgh office. Marlon Giron has been promoted to regional safety specialist. Giron was most recently senior supervisor on the Tampa Electric account. He joined Davey in 1994 as a crew foreman. Rick Hannah has been promoted to regional manager, Midwest Southern operating group for Commercial Landscape Services. Hannah joined Davey in 1988 as a trimmer trainee in the West Cleveland office. He was promoted to the company's first commercial account representative in Northeast Ohio in 1993. Hannah worked for R/C and CLS operations in Cincinnati from 1995 until he left his most recent position as district manager of the Cincinnati R/C office. Hannah received the Golden Oak Award at the Davey Institute of Tree Sciences (DITS) in 1989. Hannah is also a past President's Council member. Mike Iatzko has been promoted to account manager at the Detroit Southwest territory. David Jackson has been promoted to operations manager of Wolf Tree. Jackson was most recently regional manager of Wolf Tree operations. He began his career with Wolf Tree in 1972 as a groundman, then soon after earned a promotion to crew leader. He became a supervisor in 1990. At the 2013 National Managers' Meeting, Jackson re- ceived the Outstanding Manager Award. Scott Johnson has been promoted to district manager of the Nashville office. Johnson began his Davey career in March 2011 at the Nashville office. He was promoted to assistant district manager in February 2012. Johnson is a graduate of the 2012 Davey Institute of Tree Sciences (DITS) class, as well as a board certified master arborist and vice president of the Tennessee Urban Forestry Council. Rob Kraker has been promoted to sales arborist at the Nashville office. Josh Leo has been promoted to district manager at the North Detroit office. Leo joined Davey as a tree trimmer at the North Detroit R/C office in 2004. He was eventually promoted to plant health care specialist before earning a promotion to his most recent position, assistant district manager, in 2014. A 2006 Davey Institute of Tree Sciences (DITS) graduate, Leo is an ISA certified arborist. He earned his associate degree in plant health care from Oakland County Community College. Josh Leo Harry Claypool has been promoted to senior vice president of the Southern operating group and Wolf Tree operations. Claypool joined Davey in 1978 at the Akron office. He became district manager of the Canton office before becoming district manager of the Charlotte R/C office. Claypool then joined the utility service line in 1998 as regional manager for the Mid-Atlantic region. In 2005, Claypool was promoted to vice president of Southern operations. He is a Penn State University graduate. Dan Gregory has been promoted to regional vice president of utility operations, Alberta, Canada. Most recently, Gregory was operations manager of Alberta utility operations. He began his career in the vegetation management industry more than 25 years ago. He started his Davey career in 2013 as a supervisor on the Fortis Alberta account. He later transitioned to supervisor on the Battle River account. Marvin Hassell has been promoted to regional vice president. Hassell joined Davey in 1979 as a groundman in Trenton, Florida. He became a foreman in 1981 and was promoted to supervisor in 1985. After two promotions to senior supervisor and then assistant manager, Hassell became area manager of the Gulf region in 2000, regional manager in 2004 and operations manager in 2014. Hassell is a graduate of the 1986 Davey Institute of Tree Sciences (DITS) class and past member of President's Council.
