20 | March/April 2015 Transitions Amy Allen has been promoted to site manager for Davey Resource Group's natural resources consulting. Carl Banks has been promoted to sales and service coordinator at the Richmond office. Jordan Beasley has been appointed to account manager at the Orlando territory. Justin Bence has been promoted to district manager at the North Minneapolis office. Bence began his Davey career in 2009 as a tree trimmer in the North Chicago R/C Davey People Mike Nash has been promoted to vice president and general manager of Canadian residential operations. Nash began his Davey career 21 years ago as a field worker in Ottawa. He advanced through the ranks to become assistant district manager of the Toronto East office before being promoted to district manager at the Calgary office. In 2011, Nash was promoted to area manager for eastern residential/commercial operations, and in 2012 he was promoted to vice president of operations. An ISA certified arborist, Nash is a past President's Council member and he has also served on the ISA Ontario board. He is a graduate of the Davey Institute of Tree Sciences (DITS). "Mike has proven his dedication to Davey through the decades of hard work and leadership," says James Doyle, executive vice president and general manager of the Davey Tree Expert Company of Canada, Ltd. "His experience will serve Davey well as we continue to expand our Canadian operations." Blair Veitch has been promoted to vice president and general manager for Canadian utility operations. Veitch, who has worked for Davey for 28 years, started in the utility division in 1984 before he was promoted to district manager for residential services in Edmonton in 1991. He was promoted to area manager of western residential/commercial operations in 2009, and in 2012 Veitch was promoted to vice president of operations. Veitch served on the British Columbia Landscape and Nursery Association. He is a past member of President's Council and he is a graduate of the 1990 Davey Institute of Tree Sciences (DITS) class. "Blair has a wealth of knowledge thanks to his three decades with Davey and his service in Alberta and British Columbia," says James Doyle, executive vice president and general manager of the Davey Tree Expert Company of Canada, Ltd. "His institutional knowledge of the company and service areas will serve Davey well as we continue to expand our Canadian operations." Mike Nash Blair Veitch office. Dennis Bruner has been appointed to branch manager of the Jacksonville territory. He will work closely with Davey's Jacksonville Landscape Construction office and local business developers. Bruner has four years of landscape management experi- ence running large on-site jobs, in addition to spending 12 years as an Ohio Deputy Sheriff. Bruner attended Youngstown State University. Ken Busse has been promoted to sales arborist at the Las Vegas office. Cory Campbell has been promoted to sales and service coordinator at the Northern Virginia office. Scott Carlin has been promoted to division manager of asset management for Davey Resource Group (DRG). Carlin joined DRG's geographic information systems (GIS) team in 2004 as a project developer. After several years he got involved with the asset management team, where he has developed several new services for DRG. Carlin is a University of Toledo graduate. Bryan Cloutier has been promoted to assistant district manager at the North Detroit office. Jeff Crites has been promoted to market manager, Midwest operating group, R/C services. Crites, most recently district manager of the Canton R/C office, joined Davey in 1986 as a lawn care technician at the Akron territory.
