Each day, The MyDavey Bulletin receives many letters of appreciation from Davey clients. Read some excerpts of these rave reviews. South Minneapolis office Scott Grubba With all the extreme weather we seem to have these days, I would like to take a moment to commend Scott Grubba, our Davey Tree representative, for the outstanding service he has provided. Last June, when a violent storm came through the Minneapolis area, leaving much of the city looking like a "war zone," I left a message on Scott's cell late that evening. He had tons and tons of calls, which he returned promptly. We had our proposal within two days. Just three days later Scott not only had two Davey crews out to our home to clean up the property, but he also worked right along with them. We were all "cleaned up" before many of our neighbors had even heard back from their arborists! Scott is so professional—he keeps in touch and understands how each and every tree is so very important to us. M. Gibbons Golden Valley, Minn. Hawaiian Electric account Sheyne Baniaga, Tautua Eliu, Jr., Gerard Liu, Saitia Nimoai I would just like to share a big "Thank You" to the two crews that performed two coconut removals for a customer in Kailua. The crews consisted of Gerard Liu, Tautua Eliu, Jr., Sheyne Baniaga and Saitia Nimoai. The customer would like to express her appreciation for the excellent job the crews did while working on her property. She was especially impressed with how courteous and nice the crews were while doing the work. Courtesy is one of Hawaiian Electric's core values and it is quite gratifying to have crews working for us exemplify that same value. Crews in the field are often seen as the face of our company so I would like to take this time to say thank you to a job well done. Gregory Chun Supervisor, Vegetation Management Hawaiian Electric Honolulu, Haw. Nashville office The crew did a great job with the removal but more importantly on the cleanup. I have worked with other tree companies in the past and can tell you that not everyone has respect for the property. Your guys were A+. Mike Siemens President of Good Sam Club Bowling Green, Ky. Davey Resource Group Kelly Farley Early this year I got a call from one of my renters notifying me of a PG&E program that addresses hazardous trees in conflict with overhead power lines. I called and came in contact with Kelly Farley, who represented PG&E and the above-mentioned program. I met with Ms. Farley at the properties to talk about the program and identify any trees that were of concern. Ms. Farley saw this project through from end-to-end. There was a lot of work to coordinate and oversee. I give Ms. Farley high marks for her professional work and expertise. She knows good customer service. I personally have thanked her and can assure PG&E she represented the company at the highest standard. Richard L. Jackson Novato, Calif. Orlando office Sean (Trevor) Hill, Chris Marshall, Rhonda Moro, Scott Simcox I just cannot put my thoughts into words. Nonetheless, I shall. My deepest gratitude to all of you! I don't believe any of you can imagine how much all of your hard work has meant to me. Thank you for employing such incredible people, Chris. In business, you and I know it all starts at the top. Trevor, Patrick and Scott were amazing during every step of the way. They have no idea how much they gave me, in so many ways beyond their hard work. My best to Rhonda Moro. She, too, is a wonderful and treasured asset! Geri Parker Davey Resource Group Dean Powell Beautify Fort Smith wants to let you know how appreciative and thankful we are for the work that Dean Powell is doing here in Fort Smith, Ark. His arborist expertise has made a tremendous improvement on the health and appearance of the trees he has trimmed for our city. Dean has also been an excellent source for information and advice. He has been a pleasure to work with and has gone above and beyond to help us in our mission to benefit Fort Smith's tree population. Andrea Beckman Fort Smith, Ark. Saskatchewan Power account Morgan Lothian There is an old elm tree in our backyard that grows wild, extending over the back fence, weighing down lines and looking just plain ugly in an otherwise lovely alley. Well, last week I came home to a brighter yard and a groomed tree. I was so happy! My husband said he chatted ever so briefly with the fellow who had worked on it but did not get a business card or recall the name on the truck. I was so impressed with the work and wanted this company for future tree trimming projects in our yard. I guessed that because it was alley work that Saskatchewan Power may have contracted out the job. I called them and a helpful employee suggested it was probably Davey who had done the work. Today, I spotted the truck in the area again and was lucky enough to speak with Morgan Lothian—the guy who had done the work on our tree. What a great guy he is! He was so pleasant to speak with and very helpful as he took time to pass on contact information for Davey. I thanked Morgan and his fellow worker and went on my way. We will be using this company to trim trees in our yard. Thanks again, Morgan! Your work ethic is appreciated! Joan Z. Old Lakeview area, Regina, Saskatchewan Mailbox 28 | July/August 2014
