DAVEY HELPS AMAZON ACHIEVE TREE DAY DELIVERY
As part of their stewardship efforts, Amazon worked with
the City of Oxford, Georgia, to plant 100 trees in a local
park. Led by Jim Watson, district manager, Loganville office,
employees Carl Myers, sales arborist; Jordan Argo, sales
arborist; Sam Sneed, foreman; and Jay West, project
manager, Arborguard Tree Specialists, a Davey company,
Atlanta office, planted trees and provided hands-on
instruction to ensure the trees were planted properly.
"There aren't a lot of big trees in the park, so this will
increase the canopy to create more shade. It's going to
look really good," Watson said. "We will also continue
watering and caring for the trees to maintain their health."
