THE DAVEY BULLETIN
DAVEY'S NEW TRAINING, RESEARCH
CAMPUS OPENS TO EMPLOYEES
The Davey SEED (Science, Employee
Education and Development)
Campus has officially opened its
doors to conduct training and research
programs for all Davey employees.
The central purpose of the new campus
is to train employees and conduct
research intended to improve services
for both our employees and clients.
Hear directly from Davey Chairman,
President and CEO Pat Covey on page
4, where he talks about the important
role the SEED Campus research
facilities play in serving our operations
and their clients.
FOCUSED TRAINING
FACILITIES
The phrases "world-class," "state-
of-the-art" and "one-of-a-kind"
come to mind when thinking about
the training facilities now available
to employees at the SEED Campus.
Five classroom spaces offer
opportunities for small-group
collaboration, messy machine
maintenance learning – such as
chainsaw use – and traditional lectures
incorporating modern technology.
The climbing training center provides
a safe, controlled environment where
employees can learn the basics of
tree climbing year-round – offering
the opportunity to gain confidence
with the tools and skills required to
climb a tree.
