THE DAVEY BULLETIN
DAVEY PEOPLE
In 2013, Herb Landmann, project manager, Davey Business
Development Team, bought his first antique and former
fire-rescue truck, a 1968 blue Dodge Power Wagon. Three
years later, he bought its red companion, a 1966 Chevy
K20. With the help of his friends from various "hot-rod" car
garages in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, he was able to
restore both trucks.
"I've always had an interest in older vehicles," Landmann
said. "They're easier to work on than today's vehicles, and
I also like that they have a manual transmission. It makes
them fun to drive."
Landmann performs minor fixes and maintenance on the
trucks himself and fires them up frequently to ensure ev-
erything is running smoothly. When he isn't on the road for
work, he can be found not only working on the trucks, but
also occasionally showing them off at car and truck shows.
"I've met a lot of people who have similar interests since
having them," Landmann said. "It's just a good pastime to
have because there's always something to work on."
