Sean Hoes has been promoted to
district manager, South Denver
office. Hoes joined Davey in 2017
as a groundperson at the Dallas office.
In 2019, he was promoted to PHC
technician. Hoes moved to the South
Denver office as a foreman later that
year. He was promoted to sales and
service coordinator in 2019 and to
assistant district manager in 2022.
Hoes is an ISA Certified Arborist
®
and holds a bachelor's degree in
forestry from Stephen F. Austin
State University.
Kevin Marks has been promoted
to operations manager, Western
operations, R/C services. Marks joined
Davey in 1995 as a PHC technician
with the acquisition of Wilhelm Tree
& Lawn Care in Denver. In 1998, he
was promoted to sales and service
coordinator at the East Denver office.
Later, he was promoted to sales
arborist at the Boulder office in 2005
and assistant district manager in
2012. Marks was named district
manager of the North Denver office
in 2015 and then to market manager
in 2020. He is an ISA Board Certified
Master Arborist
®
.
Adam Martin has been promoted
to residential skills trainer, Buffalo
office, R/C, and Davey Institute. In this
hybrid role, Martin will continue as a
crew leader at the Buffalo office and
will also be supporting the training of
employees in the Buffalo, Rochester,
and Albany offices. He joined Davey
in 2016 as a trimmer at the Buffalo
office and was promoted to foreman
in 2018. Martin is an ISA Certified
Arborist
®
and a D.I.T.S. graduate.
Jeremy Nama has been promoted
to district manager, Santa Cruz office.
Nama joined Davey in 2015 as a sales
and service coordinator through the
Nature First acquisition, a company
he founded in 1999. He is an ISA
Certified Arborist
®

Houston territory
Alex O'Neill has been promoted to
regional safety specialist, health and
safety department, supporting R/C
operations in Colorado. O'Neill joined
Davey in 2019 with the acquisition
of ABS Tree Care as a trimmer at
the Omaha office. In 2020, he was
promoted to foreman. O'Neill is an
ISA Certified Arborist
®
.
Jason Pauley has been promoted to
arborist skills trainer, Davey Institute,
and will be supporting the training of
employees in the East Atlantic R/C
offices. Pauley joined Davey in 2016
as a trimmer at the Chesapeake office.
He is an ISA Certified Arborist
®
and
a Maryland Tree Expert.
Dawson Pickett has been promoted
to branch manager, Houston territory.
Pickett joined Davey at the beginning
of 2022 as landscape crew leader,
Houston territory, and later was
promoted to account manager.
