Luke Oliver has been promoted
to manager, Davey Resource
Group Canada, Utility Vegetation
Management. Oliver joined Davey in
2022, after holding various positions
in the green industry throughout
Saskatchewan. In addition to being
an ISA Certified Arborist
®
and ISA Tree
Risk Assessment Qualified, he also
holds a bachelor's degree in business
from Manchester Metropolitan
University in England.
Nazario Rivas has been promoted
to area manager, DRG Environmental
Consulting, Chicago region. Rivas
joined Davey in 2015 as part of the
Conservation Land Stewardship,
LLC (CLS), acquisition. He started with
CLS in 2000 as a crew leader and was
later promoted to project manager.
Rivas has held the positions of opera-
tions manager and senior
operations manager.
Ben Rosner has been promoted
to director, environmental science,
WSSI, Gainesville, Virginia
operations. Rosner joined Davey in
2014 as part of the WSSI acquisition.
He was a summer intern with
WSSI in 2001 and was hired full-
time in 2002 after obtaining his
undergraduate degree in biology
from Cedarville University. Rosner
earned a master's degree in natural
resources from Virginia Polytechnic
Institute and State University.
Ryan St. Pierre has been promoted
to manager, Davey Resource Group
Canada. St. Pierre joined Davey
in 2012 as a groundperson in the
Edmonton office, then transferred
to the Utility division in 2013. In
2017, he transferred to DRG Canada
as a consulting arborist in Toronto,
Ontario. In 2019, he was named
manager, Urban Forestry &
Environmental. He holds a diploma in
forestry technician and certifications
in urban forestry, arboriculture from
Sir Sandford Fleming College. St.
Pierre is an ISA Certified Arborist
®
and is a D.I.T.S. graduate.
Joe Steinfeld has been promoted
to manager, Urban Forestry, Eastern
Canada. Steinfeld joined Davey in
2013 on the DRG ALB survey in
southwest Ohio. In 2017, he transferred
to DRG Canada and served in various
roles prior to being promoted to
assistant manager, urban forestry
& arboriculture in 2020. He holds a
degree from Rutgers University, is an
ISA Certified Arborist
®
and is ISA Tree
Risk Assessment Qualified.
