DAVEY OFFERS NEW EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
The Davey Tree Expert Company has partnered with The
Columbus Foundation to create the Davey Tree Employee
Emergency Assistance Program. The new program is
designed to provide grants of up to $3,000 per hardship for
food, shelter and other basic needs to Davey employees
experiencing financial hardship due to an unexpected
personal crisis. This is a separate program from the Davey
Tree Employee Relief COVID-19 Program.
Eligible employees include active employees (full-time
or part-time), including those on paid or unpaid leave,
short-term disability and who have been employed for at
least 120 days. Requested expenses must be the result
of an event that has occurred after the start of the program
(September 2020) and the application must be submitted
within 120 days of the hardship in order to be eligible to
receive assistance. Davey Tree employees are eligible to
receive no more than $3,000 in one year and no more than
$6,000 in their lifetime.
Visit the website http://cbusfdn.org/DaveyTreeEAP for
more information. There employees can fill out an electronic
application for benefits. The website also explains how to
donate to support the program. Email questions about the
program to DaveyTreeEEAP@columbusfoundation.org, or
you can call 614-545-0844.
