ARBOR DAY
INTO THE TREES AT DEL VAL
On Arbor Day, over 150 kids climbed
a tree on the Delaware Valley
University campus. One by one,
Chris Marshall, sales representative,
and other employees from the
North Philadelphia R/C office guided
controlled climbs to ferry the children
up and down an adopted pin oak.
"It's an opportunity for the kids to
get up into the trees," Marshall said.
"And it's a fun opportunity for us to be
involved in the community, to show
our skills and what we do every day."
The event was part of Del Val's
annual A-Day festival, which celebrates
local agriculture, arboriculture and
other campus activities.
Chris Marshall, Corey Shepard, Jason
Parker, Jeff Huber, Pat Brennan,
Chris Brennan and Damien Glass helped
with the event.

the Albany office helped plant last
year on Arbor Day.
"This is probably my favorite day
of the year. It's a chance to spark an
interest in arboriculture," said Dan
Gillen, sales arborist, Albany office.
"And it's an opportunity to talk more
about the benefits of trees we see
every day."
