Derek Brehm has been promoted to senior environmental specialist, Conservation Land Stewardship, LLC, a subsidiary of Wetland Studies and Solutions, Inc., a Davey company. Ken Busse has been promoted to district manager of the Las Vegas office. He joined Davey in 2013 as a plant health care technician. Busse was promoted to sales arborist in 2016 and assistant district manager in 2018. He is an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist ® and is a Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA) Certified Treecare Safety Professional. He holds an associate degree in business management from the College of Southern Nevada. Hanna Christian has been promoted to payroll supervisor, corporate office. Daniel Clayton has been promoted to sales trainee in the Northern Virginia office. Denise Danois-Triche has been promoted to regional recruiting manager, Midwest. Matt French has been promoted to production manager for the Cleveland East territory. Jeremy Eckert has been promoted to project manager for Long Island National Cemetery. Jason Evans has been promoted to operations manager, Western operating group, Residential/Commercial (R/C) services. Evans joined Davey in 2006 as an accelerated sales trainee. He was promoted to sales arborist in 2008 and then to assistant district manager the same year, both in the San Francisco office. He was promoted to assistant district manager of the Menlo Park office in 2010 and was promoted to district manager a few months later. In 2017, he was promoted to market manager of the Western operating group. Evans is a past member of the Davey President's Council. He is a D.I.T.S. graduate and an ISA Certified Arborist ® . In her previous role, Julius was the industry education manager for the ISA. Julius holds a master's degree in environmental conservation with a concentration in arboriculture and urban forestry from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Jose Maldonado has been promoted to project manager for The Evergreens Cemetery. Thomas Martinez has been promoted to sales arborist for the Santa Clara office. Filipe Martins de Souza has been promoted to sales arborist for the East Bay office. Stanford Nash has been promoted to sales arborist for the Las Vegas office. Amy Nichols has been promoted to area manager, DRG, Western region, natural resource management. Nichols started at Davey in 2015 as a consultant. She was promoted to supervisor in 2017.
