Tim Pysher has been promoted to account manager, DRG, asset management. Heather Reitano has been promoted to regional recruiting manager, East region. Leonardo Rivera-Barragan has been appointed to district manager of the Menlo Park office. Rivera-Barragan has nearly two decades of experience and held several management roles within the green industry. He started in the industry as a plant health care technician with Safe & Beautiful, which became part of the Davey Company through an acquisition. In 2009, he was promoted to PHC foreman in Davey's Menlo Park R/C office. Rivera-Barragan is an ISA Certified Arborist ® , an ISA Certified Tree Worker and TCIA Certified Treecare Safety Professional (CTSP). He holds a bachelor's degree in marketing from Guadalajara University. Josh Rongish has been promoted to district manager of ABS Tree Care, a Davey company. Rongish began his career at Davey in 2007 as a plant health care technician when Davey acquired Alpine Tree in Fort Collins, Colorado. In 2013, he relocated to the Dallas office and was soon after promoted to sales and service coordinator. In 2017, he was promoted to sales arborist. Rongish is a 2016 D.I.T.S. graduate and an ISA Certified Arborist ® . Michael Schatz has been appointed to motor carrier safety specialist, corporate safety department. Dale Schvaneveldt has been promoted to assistant district manager of the East Bay office. Kelly Simms was promoted to employee records specialist, corporate office. Emily Sligh has been appointed to employee records specialist, human resources administration. Michael Spaulding has been promoted to sales arborist for the Northwest Seattle office. Beverly Strom has been promoted to manager of employee relations for Davey. With over 30 years of experience in human resources, Strom joined Davey in 2008 as part of The Care of Trees acquisition, where she had managed the human resources department. David Thurrot has been promoted to sales and service coordinator for the Mid-Atlantic Tree Preservation R/C territory. Anthony Williams has been promoted to district manager of the Kansas City office. Williams started with Davey in 2004 as a trimmer trainee in the North Detroit office and was later promoted to plant health care technician. He was promoted to sales arborist in the East Cleveland office in 2016. Williams is a 2015 D.I.T.S. graduate, an ISA Certified Arborist ® and attended Oakland Community College for agricultural science studies. Sean Zieche has been promoted to district manager of the Glen Ellyn office. Zieche began his career with Davey in 2009 as a groundperson and climber. He quickly earned several promotions, including to foreman, production foreman and most recently assistant district manager in the Glen Ellyn office. He is a 2015 D.I.T.S. graduate, an ISA Certified Arborist ® and an ISA Certified Tree Worker Climber Specialist ® .
