7 March/April 2019 | THE DAVEY BULLETIN Frank Graziano Frank Graziano has been promoted to vice president of Wetland Studies and Solutions, Inc. (WSSI), a Davey company. Graziano has 18 years of experience with WSSI and over 32 years of experience in the environmental consulting business. In his new role, Graziano will provide technical oversite for the engineering department and oversee the ecosystems restoration and compliance departments. Additionally, he will manage the WSSI Maryland office. "Frank has a wealth of industry experience that will not only be a great resource for our clients, but also to those he supervises," said Ken Joehlin, vice president and general manager, DRG environmental consulting. "I look forward to his strong leadership and continued dedication to the future of WSSI." Previously, Graziano served as director, engineering. He holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Maryland and is a licensed professional engineer in 18 states. Mike Rolband Mike Rolband has been named chairman and chief technical officer for Wetland Studies and Solutions, Inc. (WSSI), a Davey company. In his new role, Rolband has transi- tioned to a part-time basis. He will continue to support and work with key WSSI personnel on strategic items and with select clients. Rolband also will assist with strategic planning with the DRG environmental consulting team. Rolband has been president of WSSI since its founding in 1991. Davey acquired WSSI in 2014. WSSI has grown from approximately 84 employees when Rolband sold the company to more than 180 employees today and is the leading natural and cultural resources consultant in the Mid-Atlantic. "Over the last five years, WSSI has seen tremendous growth not only in personnel, but also in the services that they are able to provide their clients," said Ken Joehlin, vice president and general manager, DRG environmental consulting. "I commend Mike and his team for making WSSI what it is today. I look forward to Mike continuing his work with Davey in this new role for years to come." Tom Wolf Tom Wolf has been appointed to vice president for sales and client relations for Davey Resource Group, Utility Vegetation Management. "In his new role, Tom will be leading the UVM project developers team, cultivating key client relationships and providing strategic leadership directed at maintaining our momentum as a business," said Jack McCabe, vice president and general manager, DRG UVM. "He has brought his passion as an arboriculturist to this role, being a third-generation arborist and having worked in the utility arboriculture industry for over 40 years." Wolf joined Davey in 2008 with the acquisition of Wolf Tree. In 2014, Wolf was promoted to vice president of client relations, Utility services. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Tennessee and is an ISA Certified Arborist. Wolf currently serves as a member of the board of directors for the ISA and as a trustee for the Tree Research Education and Endowment (TREE) Fund.
