ALMOST TWO DECADES OF SERVICE
When it comes to caring for his property, Steve Roscoe wouldn't trust anyone
but Davey's Mississauga office to do the job.
David Tonigussi, district manager of the office, and his crew started working on
Roscoe's property in 2001. They started out doing various services throughout the
property: pruning, pest management, fertilization, and some other basic services.
"I have been a happy customer of Davey Tree for 17 years now, and I am grateful
to be able to rely on a company that has maintained their high standards for
excellent service over these many years," Roscoe said. "My property has a wide
range of mature trees, bushes and shrubbery, and Davey has always provided
highly skilled workmanship performed by friendly employees."
When emerald ash borer (EAB) was discovered in the large ash tree on Roscoe's
property, Tonigussi's team treated it twice before unfortunately determining it
needed to be taken down in 2015 when the tree had succumbed to the pest.
"I was so impressed by the careful removal of my sixty-foot dying Elm tree,"
Roscoe said. "The crew cut it down with the precision of a surgeon, and there
was no collateral damage, despite the tree's huge branches hanging over my
neighbor's house, pool and furniture."
A few years later, there was an unforeseen root problem in the vicinity of
the stump grinding done with the removal of the ash tree. Roscoe called the
Mississauga office in 2018 to explain the issue, and shortly after, Davey was
once again back on his property.
"We did what we said we would do. We followed through with the promise of
excellent client service, even after providing the initial service," Tonigussi said.
"It's part of the reason we have clients for 17-plus years."
Despite the solution requiring multiple site visits, a deep root grinding and the
delicate removal of a very heavy tree, the problem was solved with no additional
charge to the client.

Steve Roscoe has been a client of Davey's Mississauga office for more than 17 years now
and has nothing but good things to say about the service he's received.
