DAVEY CARE AT WOODLAWN, LEESBURG EARNS NALP HONORS
Davey received two National Association of Landscape
Professionals (NALP) Silver Awards for two Commercial
Landscape Services (CLS) projects.
Davey's work at Woodlawn Cemetery in New York City and
the Village at Leesburg in Loudoun County, Virginia, earned
the honors, which were awarded in October.
Woodlawn's 400 acres includes more than 6,300 trees,
which helped the cemetery reach a level II accredited
arboretum status. Davey's work for the cemetery includes
full-service grounds maintenance, tree care and arboriculture
consulting services.

EXPERTISE
beds, turf and trees on the 55-acre property, which features
335 luxury apartments, class A office space, a 14-screen
movie theater, grocery store, fitness center and dozens of
boutique shops. Regular maintenance includes mowing,
mulching, pruning, weeding and fertilization.
The awards were presented at the Green Industry &
Equipment Expo in Louisville, Kentucky, in October.
