IN THE SPOTLIGHT
Sean Sornberger account manager,
Davey Tree Surgery Company, assisted
PG&E's Matt McLane, vegetation program
manager, with a third-party tree removal.
McLane witnessed a non-Davey tree trimming
crew cutting and dropping limbs near energized
lines. McLane noticed that they weren't
working safely and needed to discontinue
working. McLane reached out to Sornberger
and asked him to send a Davey crew
immediately to keep the unqualified crew
from attempting to continue the work.
This story made the front page of the PG&E
Electrical Avenue Publication, the utility's
internal employee communication.
Great work, Sean!
