4 THE DAVEY BULLETIN | March/April 2018 Each day, The Davey Bulletin receives many letters of appreciation from Davey clients. Send letters from your clients telling of their excellent client experience via email to bulletin@davey.com. EAST DENVER OFFICE Jay Judd, Dave Paricio Jay Judd and his team executed a highly professional and efficient removal of a large, old and dangerous cottonwood tree from my elderly mother's property. I am thankful to Jay for his willingness to accommodate my family's request to save and mill out sections of the tree for the family to keep. My thanks and appreciation to Jay and his team and to Dave Paricio for their informative and efficient attention to our needs. David Henderson Avondale, Colorado DOMINION POWER ACCOUNT Terry Elder It's been a long time since I've seen a maintenance crew who has come onto my property with the courtesy and respect this man and his crew have maintained for the last three years. Normally when crews come through I feel like I have to supervise them to ensure they're doing what they're supposed to be doing. Terry and his men stay active and engaged. One of the things I've enjoyed the most is Terry honoring my request to be notified when he and his crew are going to be on my property. He is one of the most respectful men I've met in a long time. It is obvious that safety is his first priority the way he oversees his people and the hand signals they use to communicate to each other. Lewis Dickerson Powhatan, Virginia MISSISSAUGA OFFICE Evan Axiak, Adam Cormier, David Tonigussi, Jim Trouten Thank you for sending an excellent crew. They were friendly and courteous. Jim cut down the tree in the front with support from Adam and Evan. The skill with which they cut down the large branches and avoided my roof and plants was inspiring, something I wish I could have shown a group of elementary students who are learning about pulleys and levers. The team worked well together and cleaned up the yard, leaving it in visitor-ready condition, something I appreciate. The work completed was outstanding and I will definitely recommend your company. Lara Cleave Mississauga, Ontario DAVEY RESOURCE GROUP Amy Allen What a pleasure it has been to work with Amy Allen on the Oriole Project. She has been incredibly helpful, responsive, knowledgeable, and flexible throughout the whole process. I have relied on her many times and she has always provided excellent guidance and information. Overall, she has really contributed to our ability to guide our client through the wetland regulatory process, which has made my job much easier. Phill Peters JACOBS EAST BAY OFFICE Thank you so much. The crew you sent to work on my trees was first class. All three men performed difficult work very, very well. I'm a very pleased customer. Marjorie Thompson San Lorenzo, CA NATIONAL GRID ACCOUNT The October 2017 rain and wind event surprised New England with unexpected severity. Within hours of its start, we quickly realized it was a lot different than what had been forecasted, and that it would undoubtedly cause significant damage and outages. We also knew we would need additional crews to help our Rhode Island team. Along with neighboring New England utilities, we reached out to our mutual assistance network, and Davey Tree answered the call. Your team released resources to assist in safely restoring close to 150,000 impacted Rhode Island customers. The reconstruction we faced would have taken much longer had you not worked by our side. Thank you for hanging in there with us until our last customer was back in service. We are conscious of the fact that many of the mutual assistance partners who came to our aid have endured catastrophic storm events in their own regions in past months. It is this knowledge that makes the spirit of mutual aid even stronger. We are proud to be part of this important network and will be there for you when needed. Timothy Horan President and COO National Grid - Rhode Island LETTERS
