Mila Ruby Miller was born Dec. 11,
2016, to Nick and Rachel Miller. Nick
is production manager for Davey's
Cleveland East CLS.

Aly Gail Leo was born Nov. 14, 2016,
to Josh and Kayla Leo. Josh is district
manager of Davey's North Detroit
R/C office.
Alice Fields-Johnson
Alice Sylvie was born Feb. 13, 2017,
to Chris and Lara Fields-Johnson.
Chris is a technical advisor for the
Davey Institute.
Kellan Till
Kellan Michael Till was born Oct. 27,
2016. He is the grandson of Dick Till,
assistant district manager, South
Pittsburgh R/C office.
Harland Johnson passed away
March 29, 2017. Johnson was
an operations manager, Utility
services, with 31 years of
service. He started with Davey in
1986 and held varying positions
of increasing responsibility within
Utility before being promoted
to operations manager in 2013.
Johnson was a past recipient of
the Davey Outstanding Manager
Award and a 1988 graudate
of D.I.T.S.

Gretchen Pozek, retiree, passed
away April 5, 2017. Pozek retired
in November 2014 from her
position as manager in the
accounting department at the
corporate office after 24 years
of service.
Bal Rao, retiree, passed away
May 10, 2017. Rao retired in
2015 as manager of research
and development at the Davey
Institute after 37 years of
service. He also served as a
D.I.T.S. instructor.
James A. Rhoads, retiree,
passed away March 18, 2017.
Rhoads started his Davey career
in 1985 as a mechanic at the
Kent Shop. Rhoads held the
position until retiring in 2008.
IN MEMORIAM
Scarlett Betz
Scarlett Rae Betz was born Aug. 6, 2016,
to Matt and Casey Betz. Matt is a sales
arborist for Davey's Charlotte, North
Carolina, R/C office. Scarlett is also
the granddaughter of Ray Betz, district
manager of Davey's Charlotte office.
