DEEP IN THE HEARTWOOD OF TEXAS
The 2016 International Society of
Arboriculture (ISA) annual trade show
and conference was held in Fort
Worth, Texas. With a western theme in
mind, Davey's exhibitor booth became
the "Davey corral."
With three different activities for
ISA goers to participate in, the Davey
corral was a busy place to be. In the
social corner, attendees pledged to
protect their trees and their health
by getting their photo taken. For
each pledge, Davey donated $1 to
the TREEFund.
Plinko was the name of the game!
With a chance to win several different
SOCIAL HOUR
prizes, including a cowboy boot coozy,
conference attendees lined up to
take their chances at the giant Davey
Plinko board.
But it wasn't all just fun and games.
The Davey corral also offered ISA
attendees the chance to attend
informational presentations given
by Davey employees in order to earn
continuing education credits through
a variety of different courses. Because
of the tremendous participation at
the Davey social corner and through-
out the rest of the corral, Davey
donated $1,000 to the TREEFund.
#ISAFortWorth = social success!

"
When you're an employee
owner, every day you go
to work you're investing
in your future. It's a
good investment for me
personally and for the
company. It's an opportunity
that you really don't get
anywhere else. Being an
employee owner puts it
on your shoulders. The
more effort you put in,
the higher quality of work
you're going to produce.
You're responsible. And,
it only gets better from
there. Employee ownership
keeps you very content.
You're invested. Your morale
is up. You know what you're
doing is positive, and you're
doing your best to move
forward with your career
and the company.
