PLANTING HOLIDAY JOY
A team from The Davey Tree Expert Co. of Canada,
Limited, worked with the Downtown Paris Business
Improvement Association (BIA) to install a Colorado
blue spruce tree in Paris, Ontario, in preparation for
their Jingle Bell Weekend Tree Lighting ceremony
on Nov. 18. Davey was named as the tree sponsor.
Originally planted too close to a large window
and blocking the sunlight to a local resident's
home, the crews removed the 40-foot tall
tree, carefully wrapped and secured it on a
Davey Hiab truck for safe transportation to
downtown Paris, Ontario. The spruce's final
installation height was 24-feet. Davey
crews will return at the end of the holiday
season to dismantle the tree.
