THE DAVEY BULLETIN
Don St. Clair, Northbrook, Illinois resident, and a more than
20-year client of the Wheeling office, has a long-rooted
family history with Davey. According to St. Clair, his father,
Charles "Bud" St. Clair, from Chicago, worked for Davey
from the late 1920s until the early 1930s. Bud was a Davey
Institute of Tree Surgery attendee, now known as Davey
Institute of Tree Sciences (D.I.T.S.).
"My father always spoke highly of the company. An older
company, Davey has really stayed together and owes it
all to John Davey and his love of nature," St. Clair said.
Paul Hollingsworth, sales arborist, Wheeling office, said
Don is a wonderful client to work with, and is always
complimentary of Davey.
St. Clair recently found these old Davey photos in his
father's belongings and donated them to the company's
historical archives.
