DAVEY STOCK SPLIT FINALIZED IN OCTOBER

shares before the stock split at $32.80 per share,
the total value of your shares is $3,280. If there is
a 2:1 (two shares for every one share) stock split,
you will have 200 shares at $16.40 per share,
keeping the total value of your shares at $3,280.
The number of shares doubled from 100 to 200,
and the cost per share was divided in half, $32.80
divided by two equals $16.40.

Davey did a two-for-one stock split of Davey
Company shares this October. The share price
was divided in two from $32.80, and the current
split-adjusted fair market value of Davey stock is
now $16.40.
A stock split is an action a company utilizes to
lower the cost per share of stock to a price which is
more affordable for employees to participate in the
stock ownership program. As an employee-owned
company, Davey strives to make its stock affordable
for eligible employees. The board of directors
commonly approves a stock split when our shares
are valued at $30 or more.
The stock split does not change the value of your
stock, only the number of shares owned and the
