PREPARING FOR WINTER'S SNOW Commercial Landscape Services (CLS) hosted its 2017 Snow Conference at the Davey Institute to talk about the winter season and reflect on the previous year's snow-related work. Greg Myers, vice president of operations/regional manager Midwest North, CLS, said branch managers and project managers from CLS snow territories attended the conference. While at corporate, attendees also had the opportunity to hear updates and receive guidance from several corporate leaders on recruiting, human resources, the strategic plan, effective bidding and more. An update was given about snow management performance at the start of last winter and how that related to previous years, Myers said. The purpose of the conference was to talk about CLS' snow growth moving forward. "The conference focused on building our snow numbers, even during milder years with less snowfall," Myers said.
