THE DAVEY BULLETIN
held to recap the day's events.
The tour concluded with the Tree Fest event at American
Horticultural Society's (AHS) River Farm on Saturday.
Mike Whetzel, district manager, The Care of Trees (TCOT),
a Davey company, Alexandria office, participated in the
event with an "Ask the Arborist" table.
Whetzel said the attendees were great to visit with. Most
of the questions posed to Whetzel were about the Davey
Company regarding its size and employee ownership.
Visitors also thought it was interesting that TCOT takes
care of the AHS property, Whetzel said.
Through the event, he had the opportunity to talk with
visitors from all over the world.
"I just like to hear about what different areas of the country
and overseas are doing in the green industry," Whetzel said.
"It was very diverse as far as the people we met."
