The Davey Bulletin | March/April 2017
NOTES
FIELD
Davey employees Jason Henning,
research urban forester, and Robbie
Coville, natural resource specialist,
recently took part in a day-long
teaching cadre at the Water
Environment Federation's Technical
Exhibition and Conference in New
Orleans. The pair introduced new
green infrastructure modeling features
being developed as part of the i-Tree
Hydro model, which allows users
to make comparative analyses of
different land cover scenarios and their
hydrological impacts at various scales.

HYDROLOGIC EFFECTS

Andy Jungwirth, sales representative,
West Chicago R/C office, inspired
10 Davey employees from four Davey
offices – the West Chicago R/C office,
Specialty Services, North West
Chicago R/C office, and the Illinois
Regional office – and their families
to participate in the annual Elburn
Days Parade.
Together, they marched beside a
new Davey dump trailer and chip truck
and passed out candy to hundreds
of parade watchers.
"It's a good way to get the Davey
name out there," Jungwirth said.
"Plus, it was a fun family function."
Davey was one of 150 businesses
and organizations that participated
in the parade to raise money for the
Elburn Lions Club.
