The Davey Tree Expert Company has named Larry Abernathy
a corporate officer.
Abernathy has more than 45 years with Davey. He started in
1969 in the field working vegetation control for the San Diego
Gas & Electric account. Abernathy was eventually promoted
to operations manager of the Davey Tree Surgery Company.
In 2012 he was promoted to vice president and general
manager of Davey Tree Surgery, his most recent position.
"Larry has an impressive list of accomplishments as a
key manager in the Surgery Company and continues to
demonstrate his ability to effectively manage this significant
subsidiary," says Karl Warnke, chairman, president and CEO.
