You have some very good people working for you. Removing dead, unpredictable oaks from areas next to power lines is never routine, but they made the first day's work look that way. They came back the next day with a bigger boom truck for the monster—one hundred feet high, dead and leaning over the power lines. I would have paid admission to watch their work. Your crew removed some very difficult trees with minimal collateral damage, made sure we had use of the driveway when we needed it and left everything very neat when they were done. We have lots of trees. In the future, when necessary, it would be nice if Mauricio Aguilar, Ulysser Garcia, Javier Peidra and Albino Valentin showed up again. I also have three dwarf crabapple trees I got from you. I am so happy because they have been the major hangouts for robins and cedar waxwings who are feasting on the berries. You guys are awesome. For example, after a huge maple collapsed on the back lawn on a clear summer day, Davey took it down and erased the stump. But never before has a Davey team worked through my own list all day on a "do what she says" basis. It takes a very special customer service skill set to do this, and when this is coupled with Davey expertise and muscles, it's an unbeatable combination. The two magicians who worked here yesterday were Josh Cook, leading your team, and Joe Brunetti, who helped. The work they did ranged from taking out stumps and pruning back dead wood, to rescuing a couple of trees (which was impressive arborist work by Josh) and removing deadwood from a beauty bush, which hadn't been cleaned up for 25 or so years.
