SafetyFirst
at Davey
B
ecause a safe and healthy workplace
matters to all entities of the company,
Davey launched its SafetyFirst Driver
Monitoring Program last year.
The SafetyFirst program includes a commit-
ment to motor vehicle safety for Davey drivers
as they share the road with the general public.
"SafetyFirst represents a continuous
improvement on our safety culture at Davey,"
says Jeremy Lewis, western regional safety
specialist. "We aim to reduce motor vehicle
incidents and promote driver awareness."
SafetyFirst will continue to apply to all
Davey U.S. and Canada operations this year
and moving forward. Lewis and Logan Keck,
motor carrier safety specialist, work together
to implement SafetyFirst initiatives within
each service line.
