Scott Hyland has been promoted to
director of marketing at the corporate office.
Since Hyland
joined Davey in
2003, he
has worked in
numerous
corporate
communications
and marketing
capacities. He is
responsible for
direct response
strategy, internet
marketing and
the direction of sales and marketing strategies
related to CRM. He is a member of the
President's Council and an ISA certified arbor-
ist. He holds a juris doctor degree from the
Wake Forest University School of Law and is
an American Marketing Association member.

Institute. His
nine years of
Davey experience
have resulted
in expansion,
collaboration
and research
partnerships. He
leads the develop-
ment of i-Tree
Tools software
and continues to
expand Davey's
leadership roles in federal, state, university
and local research projects. Maco earned
his Master of Science in Horticulture and
Agronomy from the University of
California, Davis.

Anand Persad has been promoted to
manager of plant sciences research at the
Davey Institute. Persad
began his Davey career
more than 11 years
ago. Now, he leads
Davey's arboriculture
research of biome-
chanics and invasive
exotic pests.
Jeff Pettit has been promoted to biologist
for the Davey Resource Group.
Taylor Ridenour has been promoted to
safety coordinator at the corporate office.
Sean Zieche has been promoted to field
production manager at the Glen Ellyn office.
