March/April 2014 | 25 Doug Bour has been promoted to operations manager for the Mid-Atlantic utility region. Doug started at Davey in 1998 as operations administrator, and has held various positions that include account manager, area manager, and most recently regional manager. He has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Bowling Green and a master's degree in business administration from The University of Akron. He is a past member of the President's Council. Steve Clawson has been promoted to area manager for Mid-Atlantic utility services. Steve started his Davey career in 1985 and has held various positions, most recently as senior account manager. He is a DITS graduate and a recipient of the Safety Award at the 1999 and 2013 National Managers' Meetings. He has an associate degree from North Greenville Junior College. Geoff Cowan has been promoted to market manager for the Chicago-based operations within the R/C service line. He has held numerous field and sales positions and most recently district manager at the South Chicago office. He is an ISA certified arborist, a 1987 graduate of DITS, a past President's Council member and a recipient of the Outstanding Manager award at the 2004, 2007 and 2013 National Managers' Meetings. John Tokarczyk has been promoted to area manager for utility services. Since joining Davey Tree in 2006, John has held various positions including work plan- ner, general foreman, production manager and most recently account manager. He is current-ly enrolled in DeVry University working on a bachelor's degree in business administration. Steve Clawson Doug Bour Geoff Cowan John Wright has been promoted to regional manager for the Mid-Atlantic Region for Commercial Landscape Services. He started with Davey in 1989 in the Washington, D.C. office as a foreman and also held the positions of landscape contractor and assistant district manager before moving to CLS in 2002 as branch manager of the Montgomery County territory. He is a DITS and DIGM graduate and a Certified Arborist. He is also a past member of the President's Council. John Tokarczyk Tom Chaky has been promoted to district manager at the new North Austin office. He started his Davey career in 1998 in the West Cleveland office, transitioned to com- mercial landscape services and then transferred to the Austin R/C office. He most recently was the assistant district manager at the Austin office. He is a DITS graduate. Brad Davis has been promoted to general foreman on the Tampa Electric account. Archie Degaust has been promoted to district manager at the Niagara office. He has been in the industry many years and returned to Davey in 2013. He gradu- ated from Sault College's Forestry Technician Program and is a MTCU Certified Arborist. His most recent position was groundman on the Toronto Hydro account. He is a DITS graduate. Matt Delaney has been promoted to project manager on the Houston, TX – HP Project for CLS. Nick Dios has been promoted to site manager for the Ohio Ecological Restoration Services for Davey Resource Group. Alicia Douglass has been promoted to team leader for the Ft. Wayne team for Davey Resource Group. John Drescher has been appointed district manager at the Northeast Chicago office. John came to Davey with the acquisition of The Care of Trees. He has a bachelor's degree in natural resources from the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point and is a certified arborist. Paul Dubois has been promoted to district manager at the Napa office. He started his Davey career with the Surgery Company in 1985. In 2011 he returned to Davey, joining the R/C service line. His most recent position was sales arborist. He is an ISA Certified Arborist. Robert Ellis has been promoted to supervisor on the Orlando Utilities, Orange County, City of Orlando and City of Mt. Dora accounts. Brandon Elmore has been promoted to motor carrier safety specialist for the corporate safety department. Matthew Ganoe has been promoted to account manager at the Dulles territory.
