A crew from Davey Resource Group's Utility Asset Man-
agement (UAM) performed full-site development planning
and design work in preparation for powering an Amazon
Distribution Center in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
During the low-voltage design process, the UAM team de-
veloped a plan for buildout from a substation, the attachment
of sub-transmission poles and the development of lines and
extensions for the clients and contractors involved. A new
transformer and substation breaker also need to be installed,
and new pole lines will be built along a major state route.
"The need for energy is so great now, that this work has
come to the forefront," Andy Eppard, account manager,
UAM, said. "Being given the opportunity to work on a site
like this and to complete low-voltage design increases Dav-

ey's footprint in the area, demonstrates our reliability to our
client and proves we can complete big projects."
As the construction of the project continues with a comple-
tion date set for the end of 2026, the UAM team will monitor
the site and help the client and contractors resolve issues if
they arise.
Richard Dodson, engineering project coordinator, UAM, said
this project shows how broad the scope of DRG's work is.
"The expertise needed to complete work like this requires
confi dence, and Davey empowers us to have that," Dodson
said. "Work like this just keeps getting bigger. Talking with
clients and being in the fi eld is the best, and we look forward
to being able to serve our clients the best we can with
projects like this."

If you are an ISA credential holder, you'll need to log in
to the new platform to create your profi le because ex-
isting profi le details will not be transferred automatically
from the previous system. The legacy site was set to be
