25 May/June 2026 | THE DAVEY BULLETIN Antonio Garcia retired Feb. 28, 2026, following 32 years of service. He joined Davey in 1993 as a foreman, North Atlantia office, Residential/ Commercial services (R/C), and held that position until retirement. Kelly Kuklisin retired April 13, 2025, following 41 years of service. She joined Davey in 1985 as a clerk, and in 1986, she became a secretary, Akron office, R/C. In 1998, she became a coordinator at the Akron office, later moving to the Canton office in the coordinator role in 2006. In 2001, she moved to become an assistant for the Davey Business Development Team. In 2023, she was promoted to operations administrator for the National Business Development Team and stayed there until retirement. Gary Schermerhorn RETIREMENTS We are saddened by the loss of Paul Milano, who passed away April 11, 2026. He was vice president, Fleet Services and Procurement. Milano joined Davey in 2015 as corporate fleet manager after 25 years of experience in the automotive industry. He was promoted to director, Antonio Garcia Kelly Kuklisin MEMORIAL Thomas Weidner Geoffrey Schoevaars Thomas Stone Gary Schermerhorn retired April 1, 2026, following 35 years of service. He joined Davey in 1991 as a sales and service technician, Albany office. In 1999, he became a sales and service coordinator, Albany office, and in 2002 was promoted to district manager. He transferred to the King of Prussia office as district manager in 2016. In 2022, Schermerhorn became market manager, Mid-Atlantic region, R/C, and stayed there until retirement. Geoffrey Schoevaars retired March 27, 2026, following 43 years of service. He joined Davey in 1982 as a foreman, PG&E account. After moving up to general foreman, PG&E account, in 2006, he transferred to Utility Vegetation Management, Davey Resource Group, as an environmental specialist and stayed there until retirement. Thomas Stone retired March 7, 2026, following 36 years of service. He joined Davey in 1989 as a plant health care technician. In 1999, he moved to become a sales and service technician, Greensboro office, R/C. Stone then became assistant district manager, Greensboro office, in 2004. In 2005, he moved back to a sales arborist role for the Greensboro office and stayed there until retirement. Thomas Weidner retired March 14, 2026, following 42 years of service. He joined Davey in 1984 as a foreman, Cincinnati office, R/C, later becoming a sales arborist in 2001. In 2017, Weidner moved to the Near North Shore office as assistant district manager, and then transitioned to the North Cincinnati office as a sales arborist in 2020. fleet services in 2017 and then was promoted to vice president, operations support services in 2023. We are saddened by the loss of Ian Baxter, who passed away March 19, 2026. He was foreman, Portland, Maine, office, Residential/Commercial services.
