In October, the crew of Ramiro Cortez, foreman, North
Detroit office, Residential/Commercial services; Marvin
Lewis, landscaper; and Montel Lewis, landscaper, trimmed
trees at the family's Michigan home.
"It felt really good to make the family happy and put a
smile on their faces," Marvin Lewis said. "This is why I
work at Davey. I've been with Davey for 12 years, and this
company has prepared me well to serve the community
the best I can."

of the tree, a local Residential services team carried out
selective pollarding, removing only the problematic limbs.
This careful pruning method reduced canopy weight and
redirected growth away from the structure while
maintaining the tree's health and overall form.
Joseph Gignac, foreman, Nanaimo Residential office,
Davey Tree Expert Co. of Canada, Limited, handled the
climbing and rigging of the Willow tree while being
supervised by Lucas St. Onge, sales arborist and skills
trainer, Calgary Tree Surgery, Davey Canada.
"This work served Davey's values by continuing to be a
top tier service provider for our clients, creating a client
relationship that will pass along our name with a positive
connotation and allowing us to have good standing in the
public eye," St. Onge said. "Work like this shows the level
of expertise and care we put forth to ensure customer
