ALL EMPLOYEES GET COMPANY EMAIL
Effective in 2026, all Davey employees will receive a
company email address that they can access through
Microsoft Outlook
®
either on a laptop or desktop computer
or through an app on their phone.
While this is a change for many, Davey Resource Group
has provided company e-mail to all their employees since
2015. It's important to note that those DRG employees
using G-mail will continue to use G-mail as usual.
The primary driving force behind establishing
business emails for all employees using a
company brand domain such as "@davey.com"
or @hartney.com was to provide employees
with the ability to use various applications
and software programs that require a valid
e-mail address.
Dan Roberts, director, IT Infrastructure and
Operations, encouraged employees to check
their company email regularly – such as once
a week – for timely notifications related to
Concur, the Davey Learning Management System (LMS)
and other email-based communications.
"Company email does not replace DaveyConnect and other
platforms for company news and information," Roberts said.
"But it does provide additional tools to employees, and it
allows for more direct communications with supervisors,
colleagues and support departments."
Company email addresses have been
established for all U.S. employees. All
employees of The Davey Tree Expert Co. of
Canada, Limited, will have company emails
established in early 2026.
Resources are available in the LMS to assist
existing employees in setting up their new
email accounts. Search for "Davey Email Set
Up Information" in the LMS. Get additional
assistance via the IT Service Desk by
emailing Help@davey.com or calling
330-673-9515 x8555.
