Four tons of pear trees were collected from the Davey Nursery, and they have also been used to feed elephants, giraffes, bison and gorillas throughout the zoo. Over the years, Davey's partnerships with professional sports teams in Cleveland, Pittsburgh and Detroit have contributed to planting 6,895 trees.
