DAVEY AND MOTOR CARRIER SUPPORT TEAM HONORED
Davey Tree and the Motor Carrier Support team were
recognized by the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance
(CVSA) and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration
for helping develop national roadside inspection training,
including a training document and truck inspection bulletin,
used by officers across North America.
In honor of the company's leadership, CVSA produced a
national training video that features Davey, a CVSA member,
as a model carrier and showcases its operational excellence
and commitment to compliance. The recognition came
during the CVSA industry training program held by Davey
at the SEED (Science, Employee Education &
Development) Campus.
"Davey has built a close relationship with CVSA through
input around the 'green industry,' and we support CVSA's
mission and provide sponsorship to workshop committee
meetings," Tim Cheever, director, Motor Carrier Support,
said. "By building these relationships, our teams have been
invited to take part in state competitions, which then send
the best of the best to a national inspectors competition,
where we take part in judging the event."

"It's designed to help everyone feel more confident and

Regional Safety Trainer, Surgery Company, who was featured
in the video. "We aimed to make the information straight-
forward and useful for real situations, and we made sure the
safety information was accurate and clearly presented."
