Local employees from Davey Seattle-area operations had the
opportunity to attend a dinner with the Davey board of directors
as part of the board's annual field experience.
Members of Davey's Board of Directors visit a client property cared
for by the North West Seattle office with views of downtown Seattle
and the iconic Space Needle. Kevin Marks, vice president, Western
operations, R/C services talks to board members about services
provided to the property.
Davey board members tour a client property cared for by the South East
Seattle office. This property, located on the shores of Lake Washington,
receives special care for its driveway hedges, which are a vital element
of the landscape and a particular asset in the Seattle area. Davey crews
professionally prune the hedges several times per year.
Board members listen to a presentation on urban forestry services
in the Seattle market from Ian Scott, area manager, Davey Resource
Group, Environmental Consulting services. The board also heard
presentations on the Surgery Company 2025 update from Kevin Peters,
vice president and general manager, Surgery Company, and on i-Tree
®
as a community resource planning tool from Scott Maco, director,
Davey Institute ecosystem services.
