3 May/June 2025 | THE DAVEY BULLETIN ANNUAL CELEBRATION OF TREES Every day is a good day to celebrate trees, but as all arborists know one special day stands out tall among the rest like a coastal redwood towering over a forest. Davey employees celebrated Arbor Day in true Davey fashion this year by giving back to their communities in ways only arborists can. You all planted trees to improve your local canopies, taught children the right way to plant trees, and more on national Arbor Day this year. Turn to page 10 to see some of the ways we celebrated Arbor Day. MAKING HISTORY For the first time ever, the Davey Annual Shareholders' Meeting was held at the new Davey SEED (Science, Employee Education and Development) Campus. Turn to page 6 for coverage of the meeting. This year's meeting draws a connection on the timeline of Davey's 145-year history to 1985, when the first shareholders' meeting was held in the Davey Institute building at the corporate campus. The Institute and corporate campus opened that year, and 105 shareholders attended the first meeting held there. Matt Fredmonsky ROOT OF THE ISSUE Our Mission We exceed client expectations.
