EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE
Davey's Employee Assistance Program is available
through The Columbus Foundation and Gifts of
Kindness LLC. Full-time and part-time active employees
are eligible to apply for up to a $3,000 grant for food,
shelter, and basic needs in times of unexpected
personal crisis, such as disruptions cause by severe
weather events.

Phil Snyder has been promoted to vice president, health and
safety department. He joined Davey in 2008 as the operations
manager of the Northeast operating group, as part of The
Care of Trees acquisition. In 2013, Snyder was promoted to
his most recent role as vice president, East Atlantic Operations,
Residential/Commercial services. He is an ISA Certifi ed
Arborist
®
and earned a bachelor's degree in forest management
from the University of Vermont. Snyder was awarded The Best
of Davey Leadership award in 2013 and is a past President's
Council member.
As a corporate vice president, Snyder will help chart Davey's
strategic direction and ultimately oversee Davey's regional
safety specialists and arborist skills teams, health and safety
support infrastructure, human and organizational performance
(HOP) development, and our motor carrier safety specialists
and initiatives.
