"There were some really fun climbs to compete in, and I loved getting
to see everyone," Bower said.
Beck added, "I'm grateful to be able to feel the camaraderie, passion,
and energy from this event and its worldwide community. It feels like
we're a family because we all speak the same 'tree language.'"

"The amount of inclusion from your fellow
competitors is exceptional," Soderlund said.
"It's more about bettering yourself, than
trying to be better than others." Soderlund is
pictured during the work climb event.
Barnes is pictured during the belayed speed climb event
and said, "It feels great to be able to represent Davey at this
competition. I love that the competitions make you set goals
to strive for, and that participating in them is good for your
career, wherever you place."
ITCC
Davey had fi ve employees participate in this year's
International Tree Climbing Championship in Savannah,
Georgia. The employees competed in climbing events
with 85 other climbers from across the globe.

"I feel so lucky to be at ITCC because it's unlike anything
else I've ever done," Recant said.
