SEED CAMPUS TAKING SHAPE
LEADERSHIP
Above: Construction workers use rebar and concrete form liner panels
to shape the walls of the basement area of one section of the Davey
SEED Campus main building. The form liners have a pattern that will
give the finished, exposed interior concrete walls a textured look that is
designed to simulate the appearance of a wooden plank, so, where the
exposed walls are visible they will look like wooden boards.
Crews with Ruhlin Company pour concrete for the foundations of the
main building on the Davey SEED Campus in August.
A total 412,000 pounds of rebar will be used to reinforce concrete
used in construction of the Davey SEED Campus.

shows part of the
foundation of the main
building looking

drive entryway to the
campus is visible in
the top left corner
of the photo.
