31 September/October 2022 | THE DAVEY BULLETIN Keenan and Blaine Gosdin are a father and son duo working on the Cullman Electric Co-op account in Cullman, Alabama, for Davey's Eastern Utility services. Both Keenan and Blaine started working for Davey in 2018. Keenan is the lead foreman and Blaine is a trimmer. Why do you enjoy working together? Keenan: He's been with me since he got out of school. I thought it would be best to train him myself on the safety aspect. Having the ability to train him makes me feel better about his safety. He does great. Blaine: I like working with him and seeing him 24/7. He's my dad and I love him. We were raised to keep family close. Why do you enjoy working for Davey? Keenan: Ever since we came to Davey, this company has been really good to us. It's like a family work environment. If you need help, someone will always be there to help. I would like to recognize Marvin Hassell, Vance Nall and Marc Sargent for all they do to support us. Blaine: Davey makes sure you're working safe, doing things the way you're supposed to and makes sure you don't get too big for your britches when it comes to safety.
