TRANSITIONS
Juan Avalos has been promoted to
account manager, Gulf Region. Avalos
joined Davey in 2018. Previously, he
was a senior supervisor for utility
services, Gulf Region. Avalos is a
member of the International Society
of Arboriculture (ISA), and the Utility
Arborist Association (UAA).
Chris Bosch has been promoted to
health and safety manager, utility
solutions, health and safety
department. Bosch joined Davey
in 2018 as a senior supervisor with
Eastern Utility services, and shortly
thereafter was promoted to area
manager and then to compliance
and training manager. His education
includes a bachelor's degree in busi-
ness management through the Forest
Technology program in the Thompson
School of Arboriculture.
Jack Creter
Cleveland North
territory
Jack Creter has been promoted to
branch manager, Cleveland North
territory, Commercial Landscape
Services (CLS). Creter joined Davey
in 1999 as a landscape coordinator at
the West Cleveland Residential/Com-
mercial (R/C) services office. He was
promoted to crew leader in 2001and
production manager, Cleveland East
territory, in 2008. He was promoted to
project manager in 2014 and account
manager in 2019. Creter is a Davey
Institute of Grounds Management
(D.I.G.M.) and Davey Institute of Tree
Sciences (D.I.T.S.) graduate.
Bill Croasmun has been promoted to
area manager, Davey Resource Group
(DRG), Utility Asset Management
(UAM). Croasmun joined Davey in
2019 as a project manager, Midwest
MRE Group, and in 2021, was
promoted to account manager.
Croasmun has a bachelor's degree
in civil engineering, and a master's
degree in business administration,
from The University of Akron.
Rick Denbeau has been promoted to
arborist skills trainer, Davey Institute.
Denbeau joined Davey in 2002 as a
trimmer, North Pittsburgh office. He
returned to Davey in 2022, after
holding various positions in the green
industry. Denbeau was recently
chosen for the position of head
technician for the next four years
at the ISA's North American Tree
Climbing Championship.
Vito Monteleone has been promoted
to operations manager, CLS.
Monteleone joined Davey in 2009.
He was brought on as part of the
Monteleone Landscaping acquisition
as an assistant branch manager,
Cleveland West territory, and by 2010,
was named branch manager. He is
a D.I.G.M. graduate.
