31 May/June 2022 | THE DAVEY BULLETIN Kimberly Ball retired on Jan. 3 following 13 years of service. Ball was an operations administrator of client services in the corporate office. Raymond Bath retired on Jan. 9 following 40 years of service. Bath was a foreman on the PG&E De Anza account. Bath started with Davey in 1982 as a foreman on the PG&E Mission account and later worked on the PG&E East Bay and San Jose accounts. Eddie Bennett retired Feb. 26 following 34 years of service. Bennett was a foreman in the South Detroit office. Terry Bier retired April 2 following 33 years of service. Bier was a regional vice president, the Davey Tree Surgery Company. Bier started at Davey in 1989 as a climber on the San Diego Gas and Electric account. He served in numerous roles prior to being promoted to regional vice president in 2016. Bier is a 2007 Best of Davey Leadership Award recipient, an ISA Certified Utility Specialist, ISA Certified Arborist and TCIA CTSP. Martha Boling retired April 2 following 47 years of service. Boling was a coordinator in Eastern Utility services. Boling started at Davey in 1975 as a secretary. She was promoted to coordinator in 2015. Kevin Bosworth retired on Jan. 1 following 13 years of service. Bosworth was a sales arborist in the Portland (Maine) office. Ines Campos retired on Dec. 18 following 17 years of service. Campos was a foreman on the PG&E South Coast account. Carlos Catalan retired on Jan. 8 following 10 years of service. Catalan was a trimmer on the Florida traveling crews account. Steve Clawson retired April 2 following 37 years of service. Clawson was an operations manager, Eastern Utility services, Upper Atlantic region. Clawson started his career with Davey as a trimmer on the South Carolina Gas & Electric account in 1985. He progressed through the ranks to foreman, general foreman and supervisor. In 2000, Clawson was promoted to account manager of the Duke Energy account and then to area manager in the Mid-Atlantic region in 2013 before being promoted to operations manager in 2019. Clawson is a 1992 D.I.T.S. graduate. Donald Fontaine retired on Jan. 4 following 5 years of service. Fontaine was a trimmer on the Great Lakes Energy account. Lawrence Garcia retired March 16 following 10 years of service. Garcia was a landscaper in the South Pittsburgh office. Richard Hannah retired April 3 following 34 years of service. Hannah was a regional manager, Commercial Landscape Services. He started at Davey in 1988 as a trimmer in the West Cleveland R/C office. A 1989 D.I.T.S. graduate, Hannah served in numerous roles in both R/C and CLS services before being promoted to regional manager in 2015. Patrick Laidman retired April 2 following 13 years of service. Laidman was an assistant district manager in the Elmsford office. David Lundeen retired Jan. 1 following 13 years of service. Lundeen was a UVM lead specialist for Davey Resource Group. Cory Pereira retired Jan. 2 following 22 years of service. Pereira was a senior vegetation management inspector, Davey Resource Group. Therese Parente retired April 2 following 13 years of service. Parente was a coordinator in the Elmsford office. Randy Parker retired April 1 following 6 years of service. Parker was a UVM specialist, Davey Resource Group. Lori Schulz retired April 9 following 24 years of service. Schulz was a coordinator in the Tampa territory. Schulz started at Davey in 1994 as a secretary and was promoted to office administrator in 2005 and to coordinator in 2013. Kent Winterhalter retired April 1 following 43 years of service. Winterhalter was an account manager, Cleveland North territory. Winterhalter started at Davey in 1979 as a lawn care technician in the West Cleveland R/C office. He held a variety of positions, including district manager, from 1991 to 2004.
