LENDING A HELPING … GRAPPLE TRUCK
This spring, a resident of Parole, Maryland, worked with
the Chesapeake R/C office to accomplish an extensive
pruning project on the mature trees at their home.
"It was a big expense for them at the time, and they
went with Davey because of our expertise and
reputation," explained Rob Dallmann, district manager,
Chesapeake office.
Then the remnants of Hurricane Ida struck their
community and its intense winds felled a mature oak
in their yard. The Village of Parole cleared parts of
downed trees from the client's neighborhood streets,
but the oak's massive trunk and roots lay in their yard
as their responsibility. When Dallmann heard, he
decided to send a Davey crew to clean up as much as
they could for the client – free of charge.
"They already spent their home repair budget for the
year, mostly on tree care this spring, so we are helping
them out," he said.
